"Charming ambience. Polite and helpful staff. Food for anyone whether vegan or not is beyond tasty and enjoyable. Made our trip to Xi'an that extra bit special. Only a short trip from the centre (about a pound or two) and soooo well worth it. Thank you."

"I don't know why this Restaurant is described as hard to find. I often had problems finding specific locations in china, but not with this one. Minni wrote how to get there coming from Shaanxi History Museum. If you are at the Big Goose Pagoda it goes like this: The pagoda is located in a temple and around this temple is a park. If you leave this park through the western exit, then the restaurant is to the right on the opposite side of the road. I added two pictures from the outside of the restaurant, so that it is easier recognized. The food was very delicious, but a bit spicy. No english spoken, but (a big) english menue with pictures."

"The place was a little tricky to find. it lies directly in front of an entrance to the tempel. it will help to look at the photo of the front entrance and walk along the street along the tempel that seeks it. the portions were large and the food was attractive, but the taste was blazing. I took most of the house and didn't want to eat it. the service was fast. Maybe suspicious. the place didn't look, or especially pretty. it was very small, just a few tables. the server spoke English, not great, but good enough. in the restaurant there is no rest room, but there is one in the shopping area in the tempel. overall I was very disappointed. the tempel is really pretty."

"Above price, average eating, slower service is the lower line. came here based on the fact that most reviews on trip advisor are Chinese, so assumed that they knew what good Chinese cuisine is. I was disappointed. When I arrived at 8 there were some people here, but soon I was almost the only one. some others came up later. the room is beautiful, the hotel is wild light show. the service was slow and inattentive, although they had people standing around, although they accompanied me back from the restroom. but I had to throw someone down to take my order and then get my bill again. eating was only average. I had better places on smaller much cheaper."
