"On a recommendation from our hosts at a nearby quinta, we tried this adega for lunch on a Thursday in August, and we caught them around 2:30 pm, towards the end of their seating. The adega is family-run, and offers only a small selection of entrées (and they were out of the fish when we ordered), so we all had the steak...and what a marvelous choice it was! We did as the others around us did, and ordered the house white (by the garrafa), which was the local (house) Alvarinho, and excellent with the steak, and the accompanying house-made batatas fritas and salad and bread and olives. We were too full for dessert. So simple, but yet friendly service and a cosy setting. A real find in the area!"
