"I have hesitated to write a comment for a long time; date of meal the 21/09/2021, but I felt I needed to make certain remarks. 1. Perhaps due to Covid-19 a 'cold ' if not 'glacial ' welcome; made to sit at a table facing only in one direction, but, not a real problem. 2. 1 Due to my limited Spanish, but, as a French/English speaker, I requested a 'Chuleton de Ternera ' T-bone type] steak of 800 grammes €16,50 with a bottle of the house wine 'Albarco ' €3,00], but, I was not asked how would I like my 800 grammes steak to be cooked; too shy to ask with no Spanisn words. 2.2 Imagine my surprise when the 'so called ' 800 grammes steak arrived it seemed like no more than 300/400 grammes being medium/ well done which 'killed ' the steak and some of the pleasure! 2.3 However, I should say that the price of this 800 grammes steak at €16,50 would have been excellent value, but, very disappointed with what appeared to be the final 'weight ' of the steak! 3. The 'baguette ' type bread was very tasty as was the delicious gravy/sauce in a separate boll. 4. The bottle of 'Albarco ' was an excellent house red wine, especially for €3.00 . Therefore, in summary, such à shame for what could have been a tasty steak meal! Upon reflection I should have asked for a 1.2 kilogramme 'Chuleton de Ternera ' steak; perhaps I would have got the equivalent of my 800 grammes steak in the end!"

"The place is huge. The room we ate was like a food house. the rations were dismally large, impossible for a normal person to eat the menu of the day. what they announced as a roasted heel was rather saxophone chop."
