I went here on a whim and the food turned out to be really fresh and good. The pricing was about right for the oceanside/long beach area. I didnt see anything priced higher than $20 but you also have to consider this is seafood. The drinks were strong and reasonably priced. What gu j doesn't like about Ben's Crab Oceanside:
Mediocre. Service is minimal. Dungeness crab tastes stale — the inner part of the crab is even cold. Given the fact that the crab is actually cooked, I do suspect they cooked it in advance and froze the crab. The crab meat does not taste fresh and juicy at all. The mussels are tiny, you won’t get much in the shell. Overall, not recommended, and you can easily find much better options blocks away. View all feedback.
