What Kali R likes about Isaan Thai Star:
I was visiting and this place was recommended to me. I will admit I’m partial to my local Thai restaurant in my hometown, but this place was pretty good for takeout. The shumai was really good and the shrimp in the Pad Thai was huge and plentiful. View all feedback.
What Ray R doesn't like about Isaan Thai Star:
Truly disappointing. We had dinner here on August 9, 2021, and almost nothing tasted any good with the exception of the summer rolls. But even that dish came with a peanut dipping sauce that was nothing but sweet glop. The chicken wing appetizer (which tasted like conventional chicken--I doubt it was locally sourced) was fried and came with a sweet but otherwise flavorless sauce--not at all spicy. It's pretty good. Authenticity is always a farce, especially when it comes to Thailand. SO just enjoy the overwhelming taste and don't complain about flavor.
Excellent food.so far have only tried take out.Delicious.
