"My husband really liked this place, I was less enthusiastic, however I do have to that the Wednesday set menu is a good deal (for Denmark) and serves up some interesting culinary surprises, especially the desserts. The menu, I believe, is all locally sourced, and therefore in season, and the chef obviously creative, so you can guarantee to taste something original. It is a quiet spot and the service was good, but we had both good, and no, english translation. It 's not something I expect , but am noting for those who don 't speak Danish as I think in a restaurant with such an interesting menu it can make a difference. Just ask ahead."

"New restaurant, renewed concept. (Almost) same name. We had the pleasure of visiting the new restaurant Boldt, which has moved from Simonis Gaard to the other side of Ved Stranden, and now resides at Limfjordhotellet. It was a super good experience. Classic French brasserie, spiced up with Asian touches. Good wines. Welcoming and knowledgeable service and reasonable prices. What's not to like? We will come again."
