"We came here, St Vallery sur Somme 5 years ago and had an unexpected excellent dinner in Hermann. This is an unique cheese, cold meat and wine shop where we can have an wonderful and hearty platter with delicious breads. We came back here after...5 years and have not regretted. Different sorts of cheeses, hams that a specialist selected were delicious. This time we savored a red cheese (tomatoes and beets)! Fantastic marriage of taste ! To finish, we enjoyed a matcha flavor ice cream. Everything was perfect harmony. We will certainly return to Hermann, but not waiting 5 years"

"Finally back in France after 3 years and for the first time booked La Corne in advance despite it being a Thursday in early June. How glad were we? The place was virtually full when we arrived and they had to turn several away during the evening. La Corne was everything we remembered: beautiful, lovely atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food. We enjoyed it so much we booked on the night for our return trip 16 days later. That too was another fabulous experience and again nice and busy. It’s heartening to see quality places doing well after the pandemic. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food and a lovely convivial environment. You come out feeling warm all over! Merci La Corne. À bientôt."

"We had Sunday lunch there on what was, probably, one of the busiest days of the year in Saint Valery sur Somme as the weather was unusually glorious. We booked late and, as a result, did not start our meal until 2.30pm by which time I am sure the staff were getting tired. But the meal was a poem from beginning to end, the complex flavours in each course were beautifully balanced and the whole meal original (to us at least) and delightful. The service was swift and attentive and when we disliked a couple of glasses of wine, they were replaced swiftly and without question by an excellent replacement. Moreover the bill was surprisingly small. It is quite a small restaurant and if you book online be sure to be able to show them their confirmation. We will be sure to book there again when we next visit the area."
