Royal Bar - Abbeville

Recommended by the staff at the Mercure, it was Monday so was very quiet. Wasn't the cheapest place, two vodkas and Coke were 18 euros? Still cheaper than the hotel. They serve food but never had any. Great wee nostalgic place, the old guy serving...was lovely and let me speak my pigeon French. Great pinball tables at the back, not seen these since the 80's!

We found ourselves with nowhere to get an evening meal. There are very few places in Abbeville that are open in the evening that serve food that don’t get booked up really quickly. The Mecure hotel receptionist recommended this place. It is a pub basically...that does snack food, but really good tasty snack food. It does things like omelette and frites, burgers, pizza and hotdogs. It’s very reasonably priced, we are a party of 2 adults and 2 teenagers we had 4 meals 2 beers and 2 cokes and it was 60 Euros and we the portions are not small we couldn’t eat it all. Service is great. Providing you are not expecting fine dining and silver service this place is great, and they allow small children in even at night.

The lady behind the bar was nice, thank you. the drinks were first class. it is very clean and welcoming.

Bar bien exposé dans la ville, places de parking à proximité. Terrasse correcte à l'extérieur quoique donnant sur une rue assez fréquentée.L'entrée du bar et le bar en lui même bien tenu et donnant envie...Par contre l'installation dans le fond de ce lieu laisse à désirer car lorsque les "petits caïds" viennent pour s'amuser aux jeux, entre bruits et insultes selon donne forcément moins de charme. Par contre patronne agréable et commerçante expédiant rapidement ces personnes lorsqu'elles deviennent vraiment insupportables !!! Le choix des boissons et assez complète, il y en a pour tout les goûts et pour un prix relativement raisonnable. Entre amis ou en couple c'est un endroit que je recommande surtout si vous y allez en semaine, le soir lorsque les "caïds" sont endormis !!!
