We stopped in at Steamers today for a quick lunch. They offer a soup and sandwich daily special and a choice from two homemade soups. My husband had the clam chowder soup with an egg salad sandwich and I had the same soup but with a fresh multigrain crusty bun. Both of our lunches were hot, fresh and tasty. This used to be a solid choice for lunch or coffee but our lunch visit this past long weekend was a huge disappointment. For starters, just one person manning the entire restaurant. We wanted the soup and sandwich special and that took over 20 minutes to arrive. The soup was disgusting! The egg salad average at best. The BLAT gave my peeps the splats_It tasted good going down just coming out the other end wasn't so nice.
