Contribute FeedbackMaya, formerly known as Manzil, is a mixed bag when it comes to reviews. Some customers have noticed a decline in the food quality since the change in ownership, with issues like wrong orders and fatty meat. However, others appreciate the friendly service and reasonable prices, especially for the buffet option. The menu offers a variety of dishes, though some patrons have found the food to be hit or miss. Overall, Maya seems to have both loyal fans and detractors, making it a restaurant worth trying for oneself.
This restaurant is not where it is called and when they call the number that it is not recognized. it was very disappointed when we couldn't find it.
I have visited Maya several times and have found it to be inconsistent. The service is excellent, with kind and helpful staff who always score top marks in that department. However, the food is mediocre and lacks that special something that would make me want to recommend Maya to others. The South Indian Garlic Chilli Lamb I had was bland and the meat was quite fatty. Overall, the food isn't bad, but it's not exceptional either.
Okay, Californian born and raised hereI know my (Tex-)Mexican food (and love it).
Until recently I lived not far from the US / Mexican border.
This restaurant isn't where it says it is and when you phone the number it's not recognised. Was very disappointed as we could not find it
