"Delicious food. Have had takeaway from here a few times but this was my first time sitting in. Lovely atmosphere. Very busy and loud initially but quietened down. Would definitely recommend. Vegan, veggie, gluten free options on the menu. We will be back. Thanks."

"My husband and I visited with vouchers I’d received as a leaving present. They were for a four course meal for 2 with a premium bottle of wine. We were greeted on arrival by Craig (head chef) and then offered to sit at our table, or to have a drink at the bar. We chose to have a drink at the gin bar and sat in the sunshine with a cocktail and a (non-alcoholic) beer for my husband. We were served our canapés at the gin bar and then Lindsay explained that as part of the deal I could choose to continue with cocktails or have a bottle of wine. I chose the wine and Lindsay asked what my pretences usually were. We then sat inside for our meal and Lindsay brought me 4 small tasters of wine and left me to try them all and pick a favourite. On returning she explained what each wine was and had so much knowledge about them all which was really interesting. We then had 4 ‘taster’ starters, all delicious but my favourite being the duck parfait with warm homemade bread. We chose beef and monkfish curry mains and shared them, both were 10/10. The puddings were also 4 small tasters and I’m not sure we could pick a favourite as all were so good. Throughout the meal all the staff were so attentive, filling up glasses if they seen they were almost empty and checking everything was okay. As we left Lindsay offered to take a photo of us outside which was a such a lovely touch as my husband and I rarely take photos together! All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eat on the Green and absolutely hope to return soon (ideally before it is sold)! Thank you so much to all the staff, you should be proud of the amazing establishment you have."

"Wrong place if you are looking for authentic Indian foods, especially curries. Most of the curries got the similar tomato base and taste. We tried lamb Rogan josh and chicken Balti. There were no difference in the sauce they made. Just tomato paste all over it. We were travelling from England and when compared to some authentic restaurants over there Lasan was poor in authentic taste. Just one piece of advice know the guests and customize the dishes accordingly."

"Cold food and had to ask the waitress (who never came back apart from to clear plates and with bill) to ask the chef why to be told hot lamp wasn’t working with no offer of hot food just bill as per normal had it been up to standard surely a hot meal isn’t much to expect fish goujons cold just are not nice for the two of us or anyone. It’s such a shame as a lovely menu with a little communication and customer care this could be a great place to dine."

"Just got back from an exquisite meal at the fife arms. We had run out of gas at our campsite and booked a last minute meal. The staff couldn’t have been anymore accommodating and ensured we had everything we required for our toddler. The food...was exquisite but the service was even better. Living in a city, you forget how kind people can be… thank you for the reminder :"
