"When I order a Hot pastrami sandwich I expect it to be hot and not soo cold that it doesn 't even melt the cheese. *Update* decided to once again try the pastrami Sandwich, this time it was warm but absolutely the driest Pastrami I 've ever had. It 's a step above really dry jerky, it feels like they ran it through a dehydrator before serving it. Would not recommend. "Was served hard bread. Pita chips served with spinach dip were burned. Hardly any beans at all in the figoli soup. Salad had big Ole chunks of lettuce an wilted lettuce in it. Waitress acted like she did not care to do her job. Never smiled. Acted like she wanted us to hurry and leave as if she had something important to do. Watched other wait staff and they were smiling and chatty while waiting on their tables."

"The wine, the service, and the ambience are fantastic! Was in Abilene for one night and was looking for something other than BBQ or steak. It was a cool, rainy evening but the firepits were alit and was the perfect setting to warm up with a glass of wine. We had 2 different Pinot Noirs from Oregon which were both great and paired them with a fall harvest salad and a caprese flatbread. The staff were friendly and customer focused, the setting was very chill. Loved this place and would recommend a stop here when in town."

"Johnny and his family do an amazing job here at this hidden treasure off of 1st st. The flavors were on point, the portions were substantial and the selection was outstanding. In particular I had the pad thai, jasmin tea, and shrimp fried rice. I highly recommend CK seafood steak grill. There are so many great items on the menu I can't wait to try next time like their famous burgers and fried Oreos. Lastly, Johnny also knew a lot if his guests names by heart which is also saying something. So good!"
