This is a great family owned restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, chicken fried steak. I stop in at least once a week. Great service and good value for the price.

Blue Sky is the best burger place in Abilene but Rick & Carolyn's is second Almost every Saturday this is the go to place.

"When I order a Hot pastrami sandwich I expect it to be hot and not soo cold that it doesn 't even melt the cheese. *Update* decided to once again try the pastrami Sandwich, this time it was warm but absolutely the driest Pastrami I 've ever had. It 's a step above really dry jerky, it feels like they ran it through a dehydrator before serving it. Would not recommend. "The wine, the service, and the ambience are fantastic! Was in Abilene for one night and was looking for something other than BBQ or steak. It was a cool, rainy evening but the firepits were alit and was the perfect setting to warm up with a glass of wine. We had 2 different Pinot Noirs from Oregon which were both great and paired them with a fall harvest salad and a caprese flatbread. The staff were friendly and customer focused, the setting was very chill. Loved this place and would recommend a stop here when in town."
