I usually don't write reviews, but I had to for this restaurant. The food here is incredible! I've been here twice in the past week and both times the flavors were delicious and the seafood was cooked perfectly! Even when reheating the leftovers at home, the fish still tasted great! Plus, it's BYOB, which is a big bonus. This place is definitely a must-try! View all feedback.

We ordered two Po' Boys with oysters and a boil with shrimp and crawfish. The staff was very attentive to our shellfish allergies and made sure our Po' Boys were prepared without any cross-contamination. The food was fresh and delicious when we got home. The boils even came with a bib and gloves, which added a fun touch to the meal. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
I am very satisfied with my meal. The portion size was good and the taste was excellent (Cajun). I will definitely be back. The staff is friendly and the environment is very clean and relaxing. Great job!
This review is going to be long and is not going to be good. My wife and I went to the Abington location of Ohot on Saturday, 02/12/2022. We walked in and were immediately greeted and shown to our seat. The restaurant was at about half capacity. It was comfortably warm with popular music playing in the background (more on the music later). The waitress came over and took our order for drinks, appetizer, and entrees. The cherry coke sodas (coke with grenadine) were brought over shortly thereafter they were watered down but drinkable. Then our appetizer AND our entrees came out. This was undesirable because of, well, you know the appetizer comes out and the entree a short time later.....but anyway. We were given paper plates and plastic forks initially this rubbed me the wrong way but it could have simply been due to COVID-19 I am unsure on this part. The boil bag was sat on the table, not shaken up, and with nothing to support it so I'm fighting two layers of plastic to get to my food. But okay. We tasted the coconut shrimp they were hot, straight out of the fryer (I count this as a good thing) my wife liked them, I thought that they were salty. I ordered 1lb of headless shrimp. 1lb of snow crab legs. One lobster tail. Corn and potatoes came with it. The sauce was OHOT and the spice level was ordered as medium My wife ordered the same but with half-pound amounts and garlic butter and mild I tried the corn, first. It was overcooked but okay. I next tried the lobster tail NO FLAVOR and a complete waste of $19. I tried the shrimp cooked fine but NO FLAVOR and NOT CLEANED (shrimp poop up and down each shrimp even though it was split down the middle for the purpose of cleaning). The crab legs OVER COOKED NO FLAVOR. The potatoes were okay. There was NO spice and for medium there should have been a tiny bit. The OHOT sauce was supposed to be a combination of all of their individual flavors but was more like a combination with too much water it had no flavor. Lastly on the food it is hard to know for sure, of course, but that did NOT seem like 1lb of shrimp. My wife didn't like her entree either for many of the same reasons. The music that was on, one of the songs had some vulgarity and profanity in it. I chalk this more up to a lack of attention to detail than anything else....but there were kids in the restaurant so worth noting. Now, the music was soft, there is a chance that the kid nor anyone else actually heard it. Finally, mercifully, the check was delivered. It was for $135. Okay, I give my card. She takes it and returns it. No problems with this. I sign and add a $20 tip because, hey, the waitress had nothing to do with the absolutely horrible food. Her service, to that point, was ok. I turn the slip over and continue talking to my wife. Now, I've eaten at hundreds of different restaurants (not a flex just letting you know for background) and when your card is run and the receipt returned back to you, the waitress never comes to get the final-signed copy with the tip on it until you leave because it is considered rude. Well, what does this lady do? She comes to get the receipt, turns it over, looks at the tip, and then takes it back. For reasons that I won't bother to mention, this was offensive to me. Whether she knowingly or unknowingly did this offensive thing is not relevant it showed very little class at best and, at worse, bias on her part. Other things: there were two employees sitting over at the corner of the waiting area, huddled up, and it just seemed odd and unprofessional. The windows to the restaurant were either streaky or dirty depending on if you ask me or my wife. The bathroom was clean and there was soap (which was nice). The table had hand sanitizer which was nice. Hey, I'm really trying to accentuate the positives. If I had to rate the entire experience, I'd give it a 2 out of 10 with points strictly for the intangibles noted above. I can
YUM!! We went in and got the ultimate feast with the Cajun seasoning and it was incredible!! We had some leftovers and cooked pasta with the leftover sauce and it was STILL delicious! Highly recommend. The restaurant was well decorated and clean and our waitress was incredibly sweet as well.
