Nice little shop, very friendly owners. Fish and chips are okay, wouldn 't say no to them after a big walk but I was hoping for something a bit more considering the fish chips to die for chips are oven chips but fried, the fish has a nice batter but I found bones in mine which isn 't pleasant. Great Fish and chips. Served in the beautiful gardens. Great host. Absolutely fantastic plum ‘Bakewell’ tart. Worth stopping for. This place is a hidden gem and a must to stop at if up Deeside at the weekend.
Very nice haddock and chips. Mushy peas definitely like homemade.
This is a charming little place with very welcoming owners. The fish and chips are decent; I wouldn’t turn them down after a long walk, but I was hoping for something a bit better. The chips, while tasty, are actually oven chips that have been fried. The fish has a nice batter, but unfortunately, I found some bones in mine, which was quite unpleasant.
