"My family and I enjoyed a delicious and graciously served lunch on a day trip to Garachico on a Thursday in mid-July. The restaurant is in the courtyard of a charming old Canarian manor house. Even my 7-year old son was enticed in as we passed by. We were promptly and courteously seated, without a reservation, and went on to spend a relaxing couple of hours being looked after and treated to some Canarian specialities. We particularly enjoyed the avocado and prawn salad, the tuna and avocado tartare, the pork tenderloin and the grilled octopus. The prices were very reasonable given the quality of the food and the level of service. We'd love to eat there again and are seriously considering coming to stay in the hotel!"

"It is not obvious from the menu that many dishes can be made vegan. However, employees are knowledgeable about veganism and are happy to help you. Most curries can be made vegan by either soy meat, or mixed vegetables, then the curry base. The food is excellent, really delicious and cooked to a high quality If you stay in Callao Salvaje, it is definitely worth a visit"
