What User doesn't like about Los Flamingos:
Squeezed in as part of a tour there was only time for a mooch around and a quick drink. The atmosphere just oozed old fashioned decadence and the views were nothing short of spectacular. One of those place that you must return for a longer stay, though facility wise it no longer competes with the smart hotels of the Diamond District. View all feedback.
Beyond its magnificent view of the open sea and the classic Thursday Pozole, this golden-era hotel still has a special taste as soon as you enter the main reception. It is unpretentious, but clean and very affordable if you want to be in the old...Acapulco and avoid the traffic and trouble of other tourist areas.
I was in Los Flamingos several times and I'm always impressed. Delicious food, friendly staff, a cool hotel that has attached a ton of history to it, and great views! I would recommend it to anyone who will be in Acapulco!
Could not find this place. There was a construction on the street . Call them if you speak Spanish to make a reservation
Spectacular view. Old world Hollywood charm where the original Tarzan and tough guy actor John Wayne hung out, along with Cary Grant, Red Skelton and the mighty Elvis when he flimed 'Acapulco. We enjoyed a massive shrimp cocktail with avocado.
Walked up the hill to Los Flamingos, from downtown. Pretty tiring, it wouldn’t have been too hard obviously to grab a taxi but we were happy with the exercise. Not too far. Aged hotel, with a cool bit of history attached, we had a nice...lunch at the restaurant with a awesome view out to the Pacific Ocean. Buying lunch also allowed us to use the pool and stuff. Was a great afternoon. Highly recommend.
