Country Roads General Store - Accident

I was in the mood for a few snacks and decided to order some tasty fries!

We were looking for a place to hang out and had to use the restroom. The staff member told us that the toilet was not for public use. When we asked if we could use it after buying something, he responded rudely and demanded payment. We reluctantly paid to use the restroom. It was a disappointing experience and we would not recommend this place.

We were on our way back from visiting Frostburg when we stopped at this small country store for lunch. The store had a limited selection of items, including pizza, wedgies, subs, hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream. We ordered a steak and cheese sub and a chili dog. The chili on the hot dog tasted similar to my wife's homemade chili, although it was a little sweet for my liking. I thought the steak and cheese sub was a bit salty, but my wife enjoyed it. The colors of the salad and tomato were very vibrant, and both were freshly prepared while we waited. We didn't try the pizza, but it looked good as we saw several orders being taken out. The menu had slightly different prices than what was posted online, and we noticed that wedgies are a popular item, made with the same crust as a pizza. Overall, this place was a pleasant surprise and worth a 20-minute detour.

Definitely a good place for necessities when camping, and ice cream when you need a treat.
