We decided to break our trip and again have a stop in this nice seafood restaurant in Acitrezza to spent time with friends. It's always a pleasure to dinner here, you feel the difference when you eat fresh seafood...everthing was really good.. especially the seafood pasta namely Linguie alla Pescatore... extremely testy food... Food is ok...an average pizzeria food...nothing more nothing less..... what disappointed us...big time was how much they charged us for a bottle of coke.... €4.50!!!! Never again...really disappointed! P.S. we ordered a salad and it got to us almost at the same time we got our bill! It was friday night...but that is no excuse whatsoever... see ya! Recommended for great food at low prices by locals, it kept the promises! Very nice and surprising antipasti with raw scampi and fish delicious! The fish was very well done and the wine of the house okay. A great place for dinner!
Friends, if you can even find this eatery, you 've earned five forks in my book. We were staying for one night nearby and the landlady recommended this place,which is out in the countryside north of Catania. An elderly member of the family (with his dog) guide you into your parking space, and give him .50 or one euro when you come out. I 'm quite puzzled by the other reviews on this eatery; the grill is the whole thing, never mind the pizza, etc. il Nespolo has excellent sausage, veal to be grilled, horse flank steak (not for everyone I 'm sure),and other items destined for the flames. Mom, Dad and daughter somehow manage to keep plates of food in front of everyone and there is also beer on tap. For dessert we had a chocolate pyramid , excellent. It was only locals the night we were there. There is also local wine.
