"The setting is fabulous with an outdoor terrace cut into the cliff over a small harbour and staff were friendly. Food was unfortunately more mixed experience. From high to low; ombrina tartare was good, prawn linguine and gnocchi were ok, grouper and courgette pasta was mushy, caprese salad lacked any seasoning or effort (not a lot of culinary talent to just put 2 balls of mozzarella and a handful of chopped tomatoes on a plate), mixed fried fish plate was off-putting in scale and not very appetising. Prices relatively high for the location (starters around €15, main courses around €18-22, catch of the day €70/kg). Amuse bouche and lemon sorbet were unexpected and perhaps the nicest things I ate. Together with an optional tasting menu these suggest pretensions to fine dining but unfortunately its not there. Arrived full of optimism and left somewhat disappointed. Shame."
