"On holiday in the area and was keeping an eye out for pubs we passed, to visit later. I always check on Trip Advisor first. I picked another pub initially which had lovely sea views. However, as there were a lot of reviews about rude staff, over priced food and meagre portions, I chose the Horseshoe Inn instead. What a great meal we had! My husband had the gammon and said it was the best one he’d ever tasted. I had the ham salad, this was gorgeous as well. The chips were home made, soft and fluffy inside, again gorgeous. We were stuffed but were determined to have a dessert. Again, my husband was in his element about the raspberry roulade. I had the baileys cheesecake, it was a good portion, the only minor criticism was, that I had trouble cutting the base, but other than that great. Why pay for pretentious surroundings with poor customer service, high prices and poor food, when you can come to somewhere like the Horseshoe Inn and get fantastic food, friendly attentive service and good portions in an old style pub."

"Cafe man is a local cafe at the end of a series of rows of row houses in a very industrial area. from outside it is the last place they would expect to find a series of vegan options. a good rich view also photo for menu jan 2022. the personal really knew everything about the requirements in which measured how they told me that I could not have a roll because they had milk, but the cut brot was milk free. I had a Vacon sandwich, with chips and a big house made klappjack, which was nice. the other half had a linda mc fish cake. they even had vegan mayo and salat cream! there is a separate friier for the vegan causes and they take gluten-free seriously also they even have a separate toaster. impressive effort and know. many larger, more expensive places could learn a lot from the staff in the cafe one. so friendly. parking is located on a residential street right in front of the house. There are not many vegan options here, so this was a very welcome fund. updated by previous rating on 2022 01 28"

"Was looking forward to a nice meal here but was let down for a few reasons, we first ordered two soy lattes however when we gave them a try we noticed that the milk had gone sour, the panini that we ordered from the ‘vegan’ menu then arrived with coleslaw which we checked with the waitress if it was vegan just to be sure, to then find out that it in fact was not vegan (wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t on the vegan menu) however cannot fault the staff as they where all very friendly and accommodating."
