We stopped by Big Al's the other day for the first time. we were from out of town and on a three-day mini vacation with friends. We googled places to eat. Big Al's popped up and we saw the reviews were good so we thought we would give it a try. The servers were very friendly, and very attentive. Stopped in tonight, food quality was poor at best. Way overpriced for what you get. Maybe the worst BBQ in the Des Moines area. Ate at the South side location 3 years ago and it was very good and Big Al even came To the table.
