What a great place to sit and enjoy a good lunch overlooking all the activity below on the pedestrian only Rundle Mall. The food was excellent, service was good, and the drinks were stellar. Fish N' Chips and two drinks were $61 AUD, which we...felt was reasonable and a good value. Everyone at the hotel and the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Came here for lunch and the decor is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant also has this really nice romantic lounge ambience to it.Now to the food... ordered the hand cut chips ($10), salmon ($28) and kangaroo fillet ($28). The dishes just seemed a little mediocre and nothing special, and while the chips were nice and hot, I was a little disappointed to find a few pieces of the wedges with rotten layers which I didn'... We made a booking for 4 (2 couples) and were greeted well but then were pointed to our smallish (important later) table from behind the bar. Service was ok...
My favourite cheeky lunch time spot. The decor is decadent, glamorous and warm. I always enjoy a glass of bubbles with their Arancini balls and chilli...
