What Catharine Bechtelar doesn't like about Turi:
some time back I eat of turi bar e caffe for a quick lunch and a long overdue catch with a friend. it was only at midday so we're happy with sitting. this place seems to always be flowering, with a perfect location under offices I am not surprised. there are tapas and hot meal times for a longer lunch or foccacia rolls and paninis for quick start. as we were not back to work, we took a look at the cocktail menu. for... Hands down the best cannolis I have ever had. Smooth creamy ricotta filling with flecks of chocolate which is piped fresh to order into a perfectly crispy shell. The ends are then dipped into chocolate shavings and dusted with icing sugar. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Can't wait to try their much touted Nutella hot chocolate and tapas selection.
Oh wow, Turi is Sicilian heaven in the heart of Adelaide. Tucked just off Grenfell the location was chosen as the piazza and fountain made the owners think of Italy (swoon). The cannoli is freshly piped on order and the arancini and meatballs are made with classic Scicilian flavours including Middle Eastern influences. The ambiance is very well done and the staff make you feel SO welcome. Grab a quick lunch or enjoy an afterwork drink and settle in. Friday nights include a very enticing happy hour, who's up for a Prosecco?
For lunch in turi. Concise menu with something for everyone. the menu was well explained and it was pasta around the table. everyone enjoyed their meal. my pasta and sauce was delicious. three good meatballs in a delicious sauce.
On the basis of assessments. had omelette and coffee to the breakfast, both made with speed and perfection. I can see why this place is so popular that they have all the ingredients below pat a big caffe!
