The service was extremely slow, we waited for almost an hour for 6 pupusas even though there were no other customers in the restaurant. The food was not even good. We will not be returning as the staff was also very rude. View all feedback.
El Amate is a hidden gem of maryland. One of the few places to give quality Tex-Salvadorian food. The best plate I recommend is the picadera. It contains everything a carnivore would love. Highly recommend this restaurant for there food and service.
I told my friends about this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends.

The food is the star here. The staff is also always friendly. Even if you don't speak Spanish you will feel at home.
This is not worth $20. They serve the cheapest meat passing it as the more expensive cut.... I feel ripped off.
