As we were the first seated customer, it took 45mins to get our food! It was pretty good, but the wait was too long.

"I visited Nawab for their lunch buffet and was ecstatic to see the clearly labeled vegan items on their menu. Unfortunately, this is not the case for their buffet, but the staff were very friendly and willing to accommodate me. The chef walked me through the entire buffet and pointed out each item that was vegan. Buffet was 11 total. Definitely will visit again for dinner."

"Roosters was a great place to celebrate my wifes birthday. We had been there before and looked forward to our return. Our meals were wonderful! The scallops were spectacular! Very different from the typical lemon butter versions. Although not really crowded it was a bit noisy. Not too annoying. Our waitress Jayden did a fabulous job. Go there if you get a chance!"

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"The place was pampered with the customers in the last 30 min before closing. two workers worked super hard and try to get customers out of the door. the third worker sat on the broth car with her dirty shoes on the car, took her finger all 20 min I waited. I was so excited to watch it while I wait. I said something to one of the workers and asked for a manager and I was told that they don't have one. I will not order food from this place anytime soon."

"Brunch was awful. The hash browns tasted like they were frozen and microwaved. Corned beef hash barely had any corned beef in it. The hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict was bland. Will not be going here again for breakfast/brunch. Wasted money."

"We arrived yesterday for dinner and lunch today after the half marathon and it was both fantastic. The Paenang Curry was tasteful and perfectly balanced (I got medium spices at dinner, my partner got sharp for lunch today, and both were delicious), and the beef Pho at lunch today was perfect- perfect temperature, perfect balance of flavors, and a HUGE amount. Your lunch is super generous on portions and comes with the best small spring rolls and chili sauce. If I'm back in Winston's room, that's my first stop."
