"Quite literally in the middle of nowhere, this taverna is too good to be missed. Food is locally sourced or grown in-house, and wines from the nearby Toplou Monastery. We absolutely loved our meals. Staff are welcoming. Value for money is excellent. Worth a visit, highly recommend"

"Last day of vacation and you decide to see Xerokampos,... in addition to the landscape, the sea, the walks for which there aren't enough words to describe this paradise... here it is! The Kostas tavern. I don't know why I decide to try cappuccino after having enjoyed local coffee, yogurt etc for 10 days. Guys it was the best I had ever tried I swear!. As for dinner, we start with amazing tastings (offered by them), they bring them to everyone. Nice comfortable table. The menu includes typical dishes and also a couple of continental ones (such as spaghetti with fish). Generous portions, tasty accompanied by a friendly and young but also professional service. Kitchen like in many places in Greece with an open door where you can see all the ladies preparing the dishes .... the squid melted in your mouth ... the mussaka ends with fruit cake and Raki always offered by them. the bill? Incredibly low. In light of the excellent service and quality. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Great location right on some rocks above the water with a view towards a small island ahead. The food is exquisite would recommend the sea bass with fennel so delicious! The dessert on the house was great, too. Nice Greek salad, too."
