"We have been meaning to go to Casa Menendez for months and finally made it for a birthday celebration. The outcome....simply stunning regional food prepared with the obvious affection of the owners. Cannot fault our meal in any way nor the attentive service throughout. Let the owner offer you suggestions but make sure you try the fabadas which have a terrific smoky flavour. Also the house cider ...and it's table pump...is a must. We went with the idea of trying Asturian beef....but didn't get past the fabadas, merluza, rape and bacalao, all of which were bueatifully cooked dishes. An absolute must visit .....and we will certainly be back"
