"We had dinner in this restaurant, by the riverside. Located in the very old town of Joigny, we enjoyed it tremendously. Friendly reception, cocktails upstairs, order during cocktails, and then go downstairs to your table in a beautiful elevator. Everything perfectly timed, all details impeccable...(ambiance, whites, cutlery, and son on). Great cava. But the star is the food: no doubt among the best."

"This is a small restaurant featuring large portions of homemade, traditional farm fare. The owners function as waitress, chef and conversationalists. They are charming and friendly. The food is good and the prices fair. You can watch as garnishments are cut from the adjoining garden...for your plate. In the end, the experience is a kin to having been invited to a friend's for a very pleasant dinner."

"With little open around us we took the dive place to drive 25km and found this place after a phone call. efficient with 2 excellent menus, it turned out to be a really good choice, eating and service on a small evening were very welcome."

"I had the opportunity to eat at the strong house on a visit to friends at least a year ago. a pure treat from the entrance to the dessert through the chablis. even the smell of towels and the design of plates makes you want to stay there. the chef is very friendly and he doesn't hesitate to tell you the story of his restaurant and his know-how. as I told him at the check-in: it is thanks to restaurants like his own that we want to eat in quality French restaurants. I also find that the value for money is excellent. I recommend it without restraint."
