Lovely remodeled restaurant overlooking Kootenay Lake and the hot springs Had a table by the window. Excellent service despite a slow kitchen. We were out for a leisurely served meal so all was well with us.A drink, beet and goat cheese brioche, and a setting sun. Ahhh! Shared the short rib stroganoff which was more than we could eat. I deducted a point because there was very little meat in the dish. Flavor was smoky... View all feedback.
What Ana María Conde doesn't like about Ktunaxa Grill:
The service at this restaurant was terrible, and they added a significant gratuity to the bill for no apparent reason. The server was the grumpiest I have ever encountered. View all feedback.
My wife and I ate here after a day of relaxing in the hot springs. We were pleasantly surprised to see this restaurant upstairs from the pool. It has excellent views of Kootenay lake and the food was world class. The bison was fantastic. My wife is lactose intolerant so doesn't get to have a lot of desserts, but the had a Blueberry cheese cake made from goats milk that was absolutely one of the best we have ever had anywhere period. We will definitely be going here again on our next visit to the area.
I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered the appetizer of mussels. The serving size was huge! The whole take couldn't finish them. But they were quite tasty. My husband's bison steak was really good, perectly cooked and very tender.
I enjoyed two meals at this restaurant while staying at the resort. I had the bison/bannock tacos for dinner and they were excellent. For breakfast I had the pancakes with the all important real maple syrup. Also very good. Both of our servers did a great job. The prices were very fair.
We were going to the hot spring , but needed a bite to eat first. We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The waitress fit us in without a reservation. My smoked bison steak sandwich was tasty. The view was spectacular. Some of the decor was a little dated, but who cares when you can see the mountains.
Food here was great. Fine dining with good portions just to fill up the belly. The halibut and salmon were superb.
