"I have the satay beef soup. I didn't know it was peanut base and thought it was just chili. It was pretty good. The bowl was large and had a lot of delicate beef. I also heard the lobster noodle soup here is popular. I have to try the next time."

"I went to work. apparently too many customers had to handle. Last time I waited 30 minutes to get rid of. I understand a longer waiting time when the place is full, but there was no one there when I ordered the fries. pretty cheap with the portions also when I can add. that was the last chance. I'm done with this place. I also noticed in this review section that the owners only respond to the good reviews. that's very interesting."

"I stumbled across this gem on a very cold February evening. The staff were prompt to greet me and friendly. They offered me papadums as a starter. They came with authentic Indian sauces and were just right. I was craving goat so for my main course I selected goat biriani and a side of garlic nan. My server asked my spicy preference and I said “hot please”. Both dishes came promptly, were hot and perfectly prepared. The goat is bone in, succulent and tender. Also, the biriani came with a side of house made riata which more than enhanced the meal. Try this place out. It’s going to be on my must visit list every time I’m in the vicinity."

"I was there, standing up comedy in the fitzsimmons brewery in airdrie, but wanted to eat a nice bite before the performance / show. my wife was looking for a strange restaurant and found abes. it was great. we sat right away, parking was free, and the selection of food was really great. but my whole family felt like eating burgers. I had the elk burger and it's easy to screw this meat, but it was fantastic. the beef burgers were all delicious. the French fries were freshly cut and made exactly right. it was a great, simple meal and we will repeat at a future visit in the bedroom community shortly north of calgary"
