"I was there, standing up comedy in the fitzsimmons brewery in airdrie, but wanted to eat a nice bite before the performance / show. my wife was looking for a strange restaurant and found abes. it was great. we sat right away, parking was free, and the selection of food was really great. but my whole family felt like eating burgers. I had the elk burger and it's easy to screw this meat, but it was fantastic. the beef burgers were all delicious. the French fries were freshly cut and made exactly right. it was a great, simple meal and we will repeat at a future visit in the bedroom community shortly north of calgary"
