"We ate at Casa Linda first because it was across the street from our hotel. In the six days in Ajijic, we went five more times, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Could have had all three meals a day but wanted to try other places. Food was always good, and plenty for the price; good drinks too. Wait staff typically speak English pretty well, will explain and answer questions. Service was always fast as well. Go there!"

"Overpriced for what you get. Stay away from the steaks. Had rib-eye tortillas and it was anything but rib-eye and was very bland!! Hamburgers on the other hand are (along with those of Huerto Cafe 's) the best in town. As far as the market is concerned: ONLY gringos shop at this very well stocked store presumably because they want their own food/brands. Consequently most items are EXTREMELY over-priced!!!"

"Traditional, Authentic. Excellent. With daily specials and a wide menu selection of Mexican dishes, Chile Verde is something of an institution in Ajijic. Widely known as one of the town's finest lunch spots,the tiny restaurant is usually packed at all times between noon and 2 PM. "Head west on Zaragoza to Casa Domenech for some of the best good in Ajijic in a lovely setting. My husband had the shrimp in cilantro sauce and I had the shrimp in mole. Without a doubt the best sauces on the sweetest shrimp.Owner Raymond sat a chatted after a wonderful meal. We'll be back."
