Was there again yesterday and enjoyed a great chicken dish. They have a large menu and lunch specials that are very reasonable. The food is excellent and the portions are quite large, I took home half my order for supper tonight. The service is attentive but not intrusive. It's a little out of the way but worth finding. What User doesn't like about Min Wah:
Went for the Saturday lunch buffet. We were early so we ordered a plate of assorted appetizers that were awful.Buffet was to start at 1 pm. After 45 minutes, there was only white rice in the steam table. The waitress told us that the cook wasn't there. As another poster mentioned, the bathrooms were filthy. I live in ajijic. I ordered four courts for the house delivery. Pop stickers: they were bought willon packaging with a drop of bark. no taste, no flavor. salt and pfeffer prawn: I have a photo, the smallest garnel I have ever seen. with a normal black pfeffer fritted and aromatized, no taste, whatever. and the same content, the same taste as they were the specificities of the cook. I have photos). unfortunately I noticed it late and cut my mouth. I had to throw a dollar in a grump. ajijic is full of wonderful restaurants. they skip that.
I rarely visit Chinese restaurants anymore but thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today at Min Wah. The sweet &sour soup was very flavorful and thick... isn’t it normally a broth soup? I had Mu Shoo, a vegetarian stir fry that hit the spot. Very reasonable prices....Sat outside next to a fountain and coy pond where we received the friendliest of service. Will definitely go back.
