"Pedro, the chef of Go Bistro, presents the best culinary experience we enjoy in Ajijic and Lakeside. So many restaurants here have good food. A handful of excellent food. Not only is Pedro's kitchen inventive, delicious and beautifully presented, the... attitude and ambience are spectacular. You can choose to dine inside in a beautiful dining room, or on the terrace, either under lid or looking for the sky. They are surrounded by plants, flowers and vines. This is the most romantic culinary experience! In addition to some regular menu items, Pedro changes the menu weekly, another world cuisine every week. Our last two visits were Indian week and very creative Mexican week, where we had the choices of delicious melés from Puebla that Pedro had learned and prepared during a long visit there. The wine list is extensive, the appetizers creative (I serve the crispy spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce). The menu also offers vegetarians. You can replace the protein in most entrees with the only best tofu we ever had (my husband is a vegetarian) with whatever sauces are presented this week. You can also get the tofu as an appetizer with a side of Marinara for diving. The cubes are crisp, not greasy, and seasoned to perfection. Live music Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. We enjoyed the light Serenading of guitar and harp that creates a beautiful background without being intrusive. Make sure to make reservations! Tonight we go back with the family to celebrate my birthday. I can't wait!"

"This is one of the best places for authentic non chi Mexican food. The Chile Verde dish so delicious and full of excellent Chile, not crushed in egg to hide the Puny Chiles. Flavor is picante but not excessively hot. the heat comes... slowly and fills you with good, tasty feelings for being in Mexico and Ajijic. Not to mention that the price is very budget-friendly. It is in a small room, so be sure to come early as it fills quickly especially in the lunch hour"
