We were staying locally and had been told that the salmon was excellent! We went on a warm night to this traditional Portuguese place and both had the salmon fillet which was excellent. The chef cooks it on a charcoal grill . The green bean soup was also excellent but there’s lots to choose from. What Cristiano Moreira doesn't like about Casa d'Avo Maria:
Sadly the wonderful daily menu is no longer available. At nearly every table you could hear, We changed for this year! . The locals are no longer there sadly, so the mix is of tourists who after many years are left wondering what has happened. The menu is drastically reduced, and I wonder if their Chefs have left, as no grilled items are on the list. Sadly, it is the end of an era. View all feedback.
