the service was spectacular as eating. we had the chips and dive of the day as well as the maisfritter (omg, so well I got an additional order to go.) for our main we had the three little cowards (kept) and the pfefferseif (Tri-Tip) and it was all tender and tasty cooked. the pulled boar was my favorites, mixed with cauliflower and swash (I think) and the aromen were really good with the bbq sauce they do. celebrated a birthday with a party of 7 in free - eating was amazing and the service was friendly and attentive. all meats were delicate and tasteful, tofu and beet salads were a hit as well as mochiko huhn and rainbow rice! very reasonable for the portion and quality of food! highly recommended! My dining experience at this restaurant was outdoors for lunch. The noise from the street was extremely loud, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. However, the corn fritters we ordered were delicious. We also tried the salads - the chicken salad with sesame vinaigrette could have been improved with a bit of toasted sesame oil for more flavor. The prawn salad with green goddess dressing was unfortunately lacking in taste. We also indulged in three out of the four dessert options, all of which were delightful. I only dine outdoors due to Covid concerns, so the excessive street noise has deterred me from returning to this restaurant.
Great foodExcellent service and pleasant atmosphere. It wasn't a mind-blowing experience, but I'd go back.
I like this little restaurant very good food good service
Great spot to have dinner with friends or on a date. Food is awesome and don't forget to checkout their social media to see the secret menu. Service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
This restaurant in the Bay Area is one of the best I have visited in months. As I will soon be leaving for Europe, I am trying to dine at as many spots as I can. This one is definitely at the top of my list. Excellent!
