The service at this restaurant was very quick and attentive. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented. The calamari and edamame were also delicious. I tried the humo and ninja rolls, with the ninja roll being particularly spicy - a warning for those who prefer milder dishes. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Yellowtail Japanese Bistro:
We were a group of three and were promptly seated at a table in the back. I didn't really care for our seats because the area felt enclosed due to the low ceiling. Oh well, let's make the best of it. View all feedback.
Staff was very nice and the food is good with great prices.Food: 5/5
One of my favorite restaurants in Alameda. Best place to go with family, friends and kids. They do provide high chairs. Great customer service. Food was served quickly. Amazing customer service. Clean restrooms. They do have a parking lot.Food: 5/5
We came here recently with my MIL. We all love Japanese food and have enjoyed dining at Yellowtail in the past.We have young kiddos, and as we were ordering and waiting, the owner came over to say hi and interact with them. He was so kind, friendly and genuine--he drew in and engaged my kiddos in a very sweet and personable way. They are both on the spectrum but he was so fun, and folded origami for each of them (a fish for one, a bird for the other) and kept them occupied and enthralled. The food was delciious, and throughout the meal he came over to check on us. My kiddos split a bento and ate it all, and when he found out that they loved the tofu in the miso soup, he went off to get more! The food we ordered was all good, but the owner's attention to us and my kids is what compels me to give this restaurant 5 stars. It was all so genuine and you could tell that he honestly loves his customers.
Really top notch freshness and clean sushi bar and room Highly recommend. Shared 26 piece plate with two friends, plus gomaae and other sides. A bit tricky to find the first time, in a safe restaraunt alley off Park Street. Typical Alameda sushi prices. There is parking lot south of the alley, I parked on Central before I knew this.
What a wonderful place! Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff were truly lovely. At the end of our meal the owner came out to see how our food was and say hello. Above and beyond. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of
