food is good and the price isn't bad but customer service is horrible. ordered food got the wrong thing so I said something and was told to bad

I just kept a coffee in. very clean.

the worst wing I ever had. old and obviously reheated. soggy. total waste of money and it's a ghost kitchen

absolutely disgusting wing! will never order again.

wings were only “okay”. they were meaty, but also fat and super dry. for 2 blue cheese we did not even get was extra dollar calculated and they split our 16 pie...

"We were in town for 2 nights in July and obviously looking for a place to eat. The hotel staff recommended the Rubi Slipper and so my wife and I decided to give it a try. I'm not sure where to start because we ended up eating here both nights we were in town. We had the tacos the first night because we weren't sure of what to get. I had the basic fried tacos and double wrapped ones while my wife had the Cool Cream ones. They were both excellent, but I really liked the double-wrapped ones."

"Wow!! From Denver and here for a quick weekend trip. We ended up here because the initial place we were going to eat had an hour wait!! So HAPPY we ended up here! We all had the calzones and they were INCREDIBLE! Our server Claudia was friendly and super helpful! We highly recommend the Purple Pig! It’s a must try!"

"Fantastic!! There are a lot of restaurants that could learn a thing or two about how to smother food from this place! I ordered the ranchero skillet and it was fabulous! My son got the meat breakfast burrito. Both were truly smothered in the red/green chili sauce of our choice. A delicious, hearty, filling way to start the day. Highly, highly recommend!!"

"I have been here before and unfortunately never left a review, about a year ago the brewhouse breakfast burritos were on point. Every ingredient was cooked perfectly and the green chili was spot on. I wish I could say the same today. I spent just under $40 on a take-out order for three burritos, one of which was smothered. I asked for it to be really smothered because I love green chili. The flavor of the burrito overall was great, eggs weren't overcooked, bacon was cooked well. The burrito itself was fine. The green chili was more like broth though and they just drizzled it on there. I don't know about anyone else but when you want a smothered burrito, you want that thing covered in chili. This was just a wet tortilla with pieces of green chili, ground pork and tomato around it. Sorry to say but I don't think I'll be back."

"My man and I ate here after seeing top gun. we ordered a few craft beer and some calamari and pizza. the kalamari was great. beautiful thick pieces with good diving sauce. the pizza was excellent! the crust should die! perfectly thin and crisp; not heavy and the beats were great. we loved the ambiente. reminds me of new york bistros with a splash of rustic decor. cozy and relaxing; beautiful music selection. we were quite out of the intense movie lying and that was the perfect place to get down. we recommend them!"

"The safety bumps on the lids of the food jars they sell were popped up. You could press them and they pop up and down indicating that the jars are not sealed. I took some to the cashier and told them they are not sealed but the cashier just shrugged. So I stayed at the register and persisted that popped jars could grow botulism and kill someone. I insisted they tell whoever is in charge that their jars are not sealed properly and dangerous. They finally went to the back then quickly returned and blew me off telling me that the owner said they will re-seal them. I don’t know for sure but that sounds crazy unsafe to just re-seal jars that could have already grown deadly anaerobic bacteria.I had thought is was cool to have a fresh food restaurant in Alamosa but after seeing the unsealed jars and lack of concern, yikes I can’t eat there or recommend anyone eat there. Maybe I’m misunderstanding how botulism works.I only thought about botulism because it was recently in the news that two young children were found alone with their dead parents after the parents died from eating pickles that had grown botulism. You can find the news by googling “Viktoria Yakunin” the young mother who died."
