We had a very nice lunch here, after visiting the palace in Vila Viçosa. Migas alentejana, Coelho, puré de batata doce, Nice light white wine, deserts and coffee. All served with sympathy and good conversation. Recommended. View all feedback.

"We had 3 nights in Evora and on all three nights we had a beer at Craft bbs, so it was inevitable that when we moved on to Vial Vicosa that we had a beer in the place where they started. We liked both the Blonde Ale and the Wheat IPA but the Wheat IPA was our favourite. We did not mind paying 4.50 Euros for a half litre of this excellent and so different beer. The outside location with a view of the castle looked good, however, as it was a bit too cold to sit outside, we sat inside. The interior of the building was very interesting with a number of complicated arches and barrel vaults. Sadly, as we were the only people there it lacked a bit of atmosphere and staff were not as friendly as in Evora. Our Covid certificates were checked when we entered."

"Me and my husband ate twice at Chana since it was very close to our hotel. The manager (owner? is super nice. The food is very good and traditional but everything is overpriced (I guess it’s a trend all over Alentejo now... . Don’t miss the tomato soup and the barbecued secretos!"
