We stayed at this family-run hotel for a week during the August Bank Holidays. The hotel has parking with an electronic gate at the rear which can be accessed via a parallel road. Several parking spaces are equipped with shelters and a staircase allows direct access to the structure. The beach reserved for the hotel is a five-minute walk away. The lido is well managed, the kiosk has a good variety and quality of sandwiches, the toilets are clean. We appreciated that the lady (one of the owners of the structure) has worked to assign us a better umbrella without us asking, given the storm of the previous days. As far as the hotel's cuisine is concerned, for those who decide to opt for half board there is the possibility of choosing between lunch or dinner the day before the day before. The food is overall good, with a decent variety of dishes. The best dish of the week was risotto with prawns and lemon peel. The worst, but in terms of plating, was the chicken breast, as it was a very ordinary single slice. We have also observed that for the first two days the quantity was sufficient, while from the third onwards it was abundant. On the first night one of the waiters had also forgotten a salad. We proceeded to remind him and he apologised. In this regard, we suggest greater kindness on the part of some of the young waiters, in fact one perceives a non-complete desire to work. The breakfast is very basic, we recommend a few more tarts, freshly made croissants (they seemed industrial), strengthening the salty part (there is only ham and cheese) and a few glass jars to contain barley/chocolate powder, rather than using raw packages. Coffee/cappuccino must also be ordered at the hotel bar and are therefore extra compared to breakfast (in which it is instead possible to prepare a cappuccino yourself using a jug of milk and one of long coffee). As for the room, it is quite spacious, with a small terrace equipped with a table and a drying rack. Toilets dated but functional. The room cleaning service is sufficient, with regular daily change of linen. However, we add that it would be advisable to affix signs to be placed outside the doors of the rooms, through which the cleaning staff is able to understand whether or not to access the room. It has in fact occurred twice that the lady entered the room believing that we had gone out, but in reality we had only gone down for breakfast. Last suggestion, encourage customers to observe a minimum of silence and stillness, avoiding as much as possible excessive shouting and shouting. Overall a good experience and value for money, with singing evening organized in the middle of the week to entertain customers in the garden.
