What Liam Donnelly doesn't like about Hungry Bear Restaurant French River Trading Post:
We stopped by and had an amazing experience at this restaurant. However, the burger was not edible and I had to throw it out. On the bright side, the ice cream was delicious and worth stopping for, but proceed with caution. View all feedback. What Anibal Crist likes about Hungry Bear Restaurant French River Trading Post:
I stopped for breakfast and tried their breakfast sandwich, which was delicious and very fresh. Surprisingly, the coffee was also great. I would definitely stop here again next time. View all feedback.

read moreThe Hungry Bear restaurant is a convenient stop along Hwy 69 for a quick meal and Canadiana shopping. Despite some mixed reviews on the food quality and service speed, the menu offers a variety of options from breakfast sandwiches to homemade soups and burgers. The ice cream bar and fudge bar are highlights for dessert lovers. The adjacent retail outlet showcases a range of Canadian-themed items from clothing to jams. The location, with ample parking and designated areas for RVs and dogs, makes it a family-friendly pit stop for travelers. While there may be better dining options in nearby towns, The Hungry Bear offers a unique experience for those passing through.
