It was a while since I had been in Firehouse Subs....got a free sub for my bday (thank you) so I had lunch.... online ordered to avoid lines, but luckily I had to wait while my friends ordered in line and got their before me.... but it was free, so can not complain too much.... great tasting sub. the service was part. be ready, it's expensive. I have the small sub, which was about a third of a sub at $6.89 and not a lot. that is more than an entire subway on the subway and about the same price for a BBQ sandwich, side and drink at hog n bones. will not return due to price and value. read more.

They make some of the best sandwiches, but I have learned to stay away from the salads. The sandwiches always taste great and are made to order in a reasonable...

"Service was good. As the place got busier the server did his best to keep up and did a good job. He kept a frequent check on our table. The food was good. I had combo #8 with shrimp, sausage, dungeness crab, corn and potatoes. It was almost too much food for one person. My wife had chicken fingers and fries. Her meal was $11 but looked more like a kid's ???meal with just a handful of fries and four small nuggets (not fingers....nuggets). My daughter had chicken fingers and onion rings and she had more than she could eat. Looked like someone in the kitchen wasnt paying much attention to portion size. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Tables were not crowded into or around one another. The men's restroom was clean also. Only two things I didnt care for. First, the bar is right inside the main entrance. No way to get to the dining room without walking past the bar. Second, the music wasn't as loud when we arrived but later someone turned it up a lot and it was overbearing by the time we left."

"I recently ordered 2 chicken bacon sandwiches. The meat was extremely dry on both sandwiches or over heated. One sandwich had no mayo as requested nor tomatoes and the lettuce seemed to have been warmed up as well. I called and spoke with a manager and was told the meat may have been dry because it was cooked twice . I have had several sandwiches from Newks and I'm sure they are cooked the same way and not one has been dry or as hard as this meat was. It was not edible. I was told I could bring the sandwiches back to the restaurant and they would remake them but would use the same batch of meat so it would probably be the same. I live in Putney so that was not an option. It made no sense to drive 20 min back into town and the food would be dry again. The sandwiches should have never been given to us and they were not edible. The fact that the manager was like yeah I'm sorry but ......that is unacceptable when someone patronizes your business give them the service they are paying you for. If we were eating in the dining room those sandwiches would have never been served to us. I will not be returning."

"They are RACIST assffff. The food is ok but the customer service is HORRIBLE. THEY DO NOT WEAR HAIR NETS! The manager chastity was rude and didn’t want to replace my food! I’ve already sent cooperate a email and voicemail. This is my second issue in this store which is why I don’t eat here. Thanks for re-confirming that your business is trash."
