I stopped in to check out the Spend Time Cafe, which is located within the shopping mall at Spencer Park. The cafe was closed, with a notice from the owners indicating that they visiting family overseas, and will open again for coffee/cake/sandwiches only on 13 June 2016, with the kitchen and full service resuming on Monday 20 June. This restaurant deserves no less than 4 stars. It is one of the top Italian restaurants in New Zealand. We enjoyed all three courses of our meals perfectly.
My friends and I had a great time at this brunch spot. I couldn't figure out why it had a low Yelp rating.
Typically, I avoid ordering gnocchi because I worry that it will be too mushy and have a gummy texture.
