To this day, this is still my number 1 spot for a delicious cheesesteak. These are so good that I compare other cheesesteaks to this and none have yet to surpass Penny's. A little hole in the wall that has some of the BEST subs around. Don't let the looks fool you. This place has very tasty food great portions for the price. Love getting take out at Penny's.
It is now called Famosos, and the food is good and service excellent.

Best wings spot in Albemarle!! This place is all about the food and affordable prices. There might not be a place to sit down but Penny’s has it money on you not making home before you finish your wings.
