We had the chance to pass around noon in the little village of Albertacce on May 08, the stop in the restaurant paggia orba allowed us to know the very nice boss but also a group of legionary (after the passage to the monument to the dead). A nice time with lots of nice people. plus a small meal of local products. unforgettable!

To discover the traditional Corsican cuisine, do not hesitate to stop there. everything is good and the welcome is warm. charcuterie and non-industrial cheese, fresh products.

How is this restaurant not referred to on trip? If there's only one restaurant to do at Albertacce, that's the one. The women of the family are in the kitchen and in the dining room for a simple, corsican meal (sleeved card, only two dishes on the menu) and very moderately. Just go and make him know (even if this restaurant doesn't need publicity seen the world on the terrace)

Good memory of this family restaurant where for 25 euros you can find a hearty menu with charcuterie, salads or soup, then pork skewer or veal sauté with olives accompanied by ravioli with bruccio or excellent homemade vegetables (more and more rare), sheep cheese and desserts including fresh fruit salad. everything is cooked home and we hear the family work in the kitchen to comfort us after the hike. A tip: invest in a mini channel (there are good and cheap ones) to provide your guests with a more enjoyable Corsican music to listen and it will be perfect.
