This was my first time here and I am so happy I tried it! There are a variety of sandwiches to choose from, the portions are amazing, and the price is affordable. There were a lot of regulars in there, so they must be doing something right. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. View all feedback.
What Robin B doesn't like about Cheese And Coffee:
This place was the worst, over crowded, no place to sit and sticky tables , I sat at the only open table and the owner was mean and nasty and said this table is reserved for a regular! I did not see his name on the table, nor a reserved sign. He could have paid for my meal if he was so insistent on sitting there. The food was awful! Tea had no flavor! The pics on the internet a VERY DECEIVING AND I WILL NEVER BE BACK... View all feedback.
The staff at this restaurant, possibly sisters or twins, are incredibly warm and welcoming. They provide fast service, delicious food, and excellent customer service. I would rate the food 5 out of 5.
Called in an order. Was told 15 minutes, showed at 20 waited another 15. Seems clear they put the order through when I showed up. It was busy so generally I wouldn’t care. The photo is my Reuben. There was no meat on either side outside a strip to give the illusion of it. They aren’t exactly cheap.Go somewhere else that doesn’t cut corners.
Let me start by saying, when I walked into the place I knew. This is local . You can tell by the inviting decor, the busy staff, how full it was. I couldn 't help but notice the awards from the city they received. I was greeted by one of the twins she told me to sit anywhere I wanted. After reviewing the menu I appreciated how simplistic it was, I got the Chelsea sandwich. Served very quickly if I may add , it also came with a soup. The soup, by far one of the best I 've ever had in my travels. Even the sandwich was simple, great tasting. You can tell everything is fresh. Definitely will come back in my travels
This is a wonderful place that is easy to pass up, but don't!! Stop and be surprised by the great food and quick service. The salad I had was delicious. The rest of the group had sandwiches, which they raved about, but the best was the green chili chicken soup. The service was excellent. Enjoy!Food: 5/5
We ordered take out on a Saturday afternoon. They were out of the soup by then which was a bummer because we were told it was awesome. We ended up ordering the sweet Spicy with potato salad, and the Chelsea with Pasta salad. The Great: The sweet and Spicy was awesome! The potato bun and home-made sauce made this a very unique sandwich that I 'd definitely go back to try again! I 've not had a sandwhich quite like this one. The bacon was cooked good, and everything together combined for a wonderful Sammich! 5 StarsThe Good: The Chelsea was good. Nothing exceptional, nothing I 'd be rushing back to order again, but it was a good turkey sandwich. 3.5 starsThe decent: The potato salad was mediocre. Nothing special. You can buy a similar one in the deli at the grocery store. Mustard based, a little starchy, and not extremely flavourful, but decent. 2 stars The bad: The pasta salad was horrible. I 'll admit I 'm not an olive fan, and this pasta salad seemed to be about 98% olives! with a little bit of noodle and undercooked broccoli mixed in. We sorted the olives out, and were left with a very small bit of noodles and broccoli. The broccoli was very crunchy, and not soft at all. Definitely did not complement the pasta salad. The few olive-less bites i did take had zero taste to them. Bland, and blah. Definitely not ordering that again. no stars
