Nice atmosphere. Had a pleasant brunch here with my daughter and Grand daughter. Good quality food and coffee and, to my surprise, the owner overheard that it was my birthday and brought over a complimentary cake. Thoroughly recommended venue. View all feedback.

Five of us were seated quickly in this very busy cafe. We ordered drinks and a late breakfast. Everything was great, tasty and right temperature. The only thing that let down the experience was being asked when we would be leaving, having to grab our still full glasses as the table was cleared and the long line of people waiting to be seated staring as we tried to scoff our food to get out of the way. It may be a min... View all feedback.
Staying at the accommodation across the road Quest Albury on Townsend and the breakfasts were to die for. Fantastic selection and cappuccinos probably the best l have had for a long time. Did take back to the apartment some of there takeaway options which was ideal when working late in the office. Coming back to Albury, awesome town, awesome people
Finally found somewhere that makes amazing coffee was my wife’s first words after taking her first sip of her coffee. We had lunch here today and everything was delicious. We ordered the smashed avocado on toast, a scrambled eggs with bacon and scotch fillet sandwiches. Everything was delicious. The steak sandwich was with Turkish bread and made it that extra delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful the cafe it’s was clean and refreshing. The prices were a bit on the high side. 18.00 for the steak sandwich and 20 for avocado Overall excellent experience will be back for sure
After several failed attempts to check out this cafe due to popularity, we finally managed to experience lunch there today. Whilst inside was crowded, there were plenty of outside tables available. Service is prompt and friendly. The coffee is excellent as is the food. Quite a varied menu with GF and vegan options and lots of choices for brekkie or brunch. We chose the Lamb Congee sort of like a lamb stew with a poached egg on top! and the Open Scotch Fillet Steak Sandwich on Turkish bread were both delicious. It was well worth the wait and I can now understand why it’s difficult to get a table here. Highly recommended.
This was best coffee from a bad bunch locally. I had long black. It seems hard to find strong coffee in this area. We are from Sydney so I don’t know if it’s related to the water or the brand of coffee used.
Driving from Melbourne to Newcastle is a taxing experience and you have to make many stops along the way. Of course, you can stop on the Hume Highway service centres but the food here just makes you feel even worse. Albury is a 3-hour drive from Melbourne through some very unite resting countryside on a very boring highway, so it's nice to stop at The Proprietor for a decent lunch. They are making an effort here, and it shows. The coffee is very good and the food is typical cafe fare, but it is Melbourne standard and that's why it's our lunch stop. They could smarten up the service, though. It's not terrible, but a bit inattentive and slow. They also have Keto friendly options, which works for me.
