What User doesn't like about Puxa Asturies:
the food is fine, the very good croquettes and the cachopo as well. what I got and it didn't seem good is that they don't bring it with chips, and when they put it on the table they ask you if you want, so you have to pay them apart if you want to take the potato chip as it should be, and they're not cheap on top. Nice place, ok beers and tapas, good place to start before you go out. Feels very commercial because of the location but service is good
Taken here by work colleagues because one of our group wanted to have something Spanish. Maybe because our local colleagues ordered for us, but selections were meat/fish heavy with the only vegetables being in the patatas bravas (do they count? and maybe some garnishes. It was great that they had an English menu available but we didn't get a chance to select from it. We had some of the usual suspects but the garlic chicken was particularly dry and the cachopa (thin crumbed veal with ham and cheese stuffed in it definitely an acquired taste even though the individual components of the dish I have no problem with. The only beer they had was Heineken, one the global bland beers that is everywhere. After touring the Heineken brewery in Amsterdam I avoid this beer but there wasn't a choice here. So, it was with that combination I had to try and eat the cochopa. Somehow it went down, but the meat feast of a meal required an antacid back at the hotel to sleep. Even our hosts were apologetic the next day. Staff were friendly and met our request to share mains rather than single dishes each. The place had an interesting atmosphere as we were in one of the huge barrels. It may be worth going back again, if I got to choose menu items and they had a large choice of beers!!
We visit this restaurant with some collegeas. It is in my opion an typical Spanisch restaurant. Simple but great food. Appetizers where great of taest and well supplied. Starters and maincourse also great and authantic food. I can really recomment this restaurant. It is mostly just juiced by locals and not a tourist trap.
Buen servicio, buen ambiente.
