Gilao - Alcoutim

Have eaten here many times over the past 10 years as it’s in a pleasant location next to the river. However, both the quality of the food and the standard of service which used to be excellent have declined noticeably over the past 2–3 years. I don’t know whether it’s due to a change of chef and/or a change of ownership and/or poor management, but it’s nowhere near as good as it used to be which is a shame.

A melhor comida tavira gourmet, mais do que um serviço amigável, chef de alto nível, esplanada com vista para o rio. lugar obrigatório para ir várias vezes e gosto de tudo.

Pulbo war sehr gut. Nudeln in Ordnung. Preis etwa hoch

Grilled octopus with sweet potatoes is amazing.

Wir waren auf 10.2.2022 in gilao zum Mittagessen und assen octopus calamares mit heißem würzigen Honig und Hühnerbrust und prawn skewer in Currysauce und Curryreis. Es hat sehr gut gekostet. wir tranken den offenen Rosö und Weißwein. beide waren gut. der Service war ok, aber nicht besonders freundlich oder aufmerksam.
